Predicting a 9 win season is pretty bold coming off of a 4 win season the year before, but with all of the off season additions and draft picks I think that it is totally possible.  We defiantly not beating the bills at all they the clear AFC east winners this year again. I do think we spit wins with the patriots and fins. I am also guaranteeing a week 1 win on Sunday night football, I think these boys gunna come out flying around and kick the dicks in on these broke boys up in new england. Week 10 against the Bengals is a win only if the king Mike White starts, a mid season Mike White start is needed every year. Zach Wilson gunna like "hurt his thumb" or something and then the king Mike White gunna come in and direct traffic and put up 50 points making Bengals defense look like swiss cheese.

If the Jets can start off hot and get three wins I think this compiles into a great season for the boys. They have fixed areas where they were weak in last year but it all comes down to our Zachy Wil. If this kid can pop off and make some serious strides forward I think the future is bright for the Jets.

Positional rankings for the 2022 NYJ

Positional rankings for the 2022 NYJ By Steamboatsam I'm bored at work today so I decided to go ahead and do a write up going over positional groups for the Jets and attempt to rank them. This roster is finally in an exciting place so I'm going to talk about it as much as possible before week 1 just in case everyone's expectations fall short (typical jets fashion). These rankings are based largely on past production with some personal bias mixed in. That being said, I'm going to remain optimistic and let's get started.  Everyone likes offense more so lets start there: RB- Breece Hall(rookie), Michael Carter, Ty Johnson, Tevin Coleman, La’Michael Perine, Zonovan McKnight (UDFA)- This group has depth, explosion, and versatility. With the 1-2 punch of Hall and Carter they will be a dynamic duo with ground and pound ability while adding that extra pass catching element out of the backfield. LaFleurs scheme is very RB friendly and we should see great production from th...

Darnold v. Wilson

Darnold v. Wilson by Mid-Sized Mike Although my company usually does not get a great return on investment from my employment on your average Wednesday, today is particularly bad. My manager just pushed my 1x1 out 30 minutes, so what better a time to compare the situations given to my two most recent sources of hope and optimism: Sam Darnold and Zach Wilson. Even though I already know just how drastic the difference is between the state of the Jets now and what it was only a few years ago, I think it’ll be funnier when written out. Let’s get into it.   Sam Darnold era: Just a few years ago, there was a massive disconnect between the Jets ownership, general manager, and head coach. Woody Johnson was in the middle of his term serving as ambassador to the UK, and even though he seemed like a really good guy, Christopher Johnson running the show continued to be a disaster. Mike Macagnan made some moves that I Iiked in the short term, but they all were extremely desperate, random, and th...

NY Jets Draft Report 2022

Jets draft report 2022: By Steamboatsam After an electric round 1, productive day 2, and relatively quiet day 3, the 2022 NFL draft came to an early, but enticing end for the New York Jets. I’ll get into player specific thoughts later but overall as a fan I'm feeling hopeful, optimistic, and excited to see what is happening in Florham Park. Now that the majority of free agency and the draft have come to an end it's clear what the Jets mission this off-season was. Improve the defense and add weapons for their young franchise QB. Both of these goals seem to have clearly been addressed, but it's not over yet. The young talent this roster is filled with now must be coached up and begin to show improvement. I love how this year's picks are, for the most part, proven players with a resume and stats. In the past we've seen players be drafted for their “physical traits” and “immense potential”. While the prospects who were brought in over the last few days possess both of...
